The handwritten notation on the back of the photo reads "Eddie Andreini -flying a Stearman" The biplane in this photo has reached the top of an arc and is nosing down, trailing smoke from fuselage and wing tips to enhance the view for specatators on the ground. The plane's wings and elevators are painted with a geometric design with widening stripes emanating from the fuselage out.
