The Tribune photo, dated July 23, 1987, has the following caption on the back: " The skies over Livermore will be filled with World War II warplanes, antique aircraft and skydivers this weekend as the 18th annual Great Livermore Airshow takes off. And many spectators got a preview yesterday of some of the aerobatics that will be seen, including.............. Eddie Andreini in his Super Starman [Stearman?]..........................." In this photo the biplane, at lower right, has completed a lazy turn, spewing smoke from its fuselage to enable spectators to get a better view.
