Premis: Semper Fi' is a comic series about the US Marines role in various American conflicts. It follows one family, the Whittiers (who have been Marines since 1775), thru their experiences. Each issue includes two stories, each of different battles in different times. Story One: "Motivated With Pride" Parris Island, 1968, boot camp- Vietnam War. Story Two: "Battle For Bagaduce" Maine, 1779 Revolutionary War Cover: The image is of Marines training, and one guy falling behind- the drill sargent yelling at him. The Marvel sign in the upper left corner, is in the shape of a rectabge with the price, date and the Comic Code stamp, it also includes an image of a Marine in dress blues, the background color varies with no signifigance, there is also a black and white spiderman mask in the lower left corner.
