Handwritten on the back, "Beachey at Emeryville Race Trac, Aviation meet, 1912" with a stamp from the romotion Department. Photo was taken from the inside field of the racetrack showing Beachey in his unique biplane flying at a low altitude over the dirt racetract. A few men are standing at the railing surrounding the track, one is holding a checkered flag. On the opposite side of the track are the grandstands filled with a number of spectators. This is a copy photograph from a much older print.
