Iconic to Ironic

Printed at the bottom of the photo, "Gary Grimes, who rose to stardom in 'Summer of '42,' wears a white letterman sweater with maroon trim emblazoned with his own ititial. It's in the style of his new Warner Bros. film, 'Class of '44,' produced and directed by Paul Bogart from a screenplay by Herman Raucher, author of the earlier hjit. The sweater is from Grubb Stuff by Robert Bruce." Photo shows the actor leaning against a wall wearing the letter sweater, jeans, saddle shoes, and a stripped button-up shirt.
