This is a glass shard that came from the Oakland hills fire storm in 1991. This appears to have been two objects that got fused together, and then broke. The bottom is very sharp. One side has red and blue metallic bits. The general color of this object is gray, with a tiny yellow ceramic bit at the top, and a "band" with a pattern running front to back. The donor's grandparents lived on Golden Gate. The day after the fire the donor was able to bike into the area. Her grandparents' home was still standing after the fire. Evidently it was one of the few in the area. The donor went up the Chabot Steps (a flight of stairs from Golden Gate to Buena Vista) turned left on Buena Vista and found this blob of glass in that first block.
