This is a model of a residential house from the countryside of Laos, constructed as a menomic by Praert Sytha, longtime resident of Richmond, CA. Mr. Sytha was an immigrant from Laos. House is of bamboo and wooden dowels on Masonite or other pressboard. Mostly natural colors, but also painted gree, red and black. House model also depicts various miniature toos for processing food (i.e. mortar, winnower, etc.].
