Poster has black text printed on yellow paper with a red border and orange graphics. Centered is an image of North and South America with a peace pipe that has a feather at each end diagonally through Central America. Imposed over the graphic is the Declaration of Continuing Independence by the First International Indian Treaty Council at Standing Rock Indian Country in June of 1974. The Declaration begins with a quotation from Black Elk, an Oglala Sioux Holy Man printed in italics. Following the quote is the preamble and then the body of the declaration, which continues down the rest of the poster. At the bottom of the poster in small black italics is a note on the International Indian Treaty Council.
