Poster consists of a full page color image with blue text. Image depicts a collection of animals, a butterfly and flower in the forefront and water with a bush with Pelicans on it in the background. Along the bottom border of the poster is a National Wildlife Refuge sign behind a boy looking through binoculars and the text "National Wildlife Refuge System / 1903-2003 100 Years of Wildlife Conservation."

Verso: Depicts a key to identify the images on the front of the poster with credit lines for each image, a image of President Theodore Roosevelt, an image of the first refuge manager, Paul Krogel and the Blue Goose logo of the refuge system.
