The Full Moon Coffee House operated from 1975 through 1978. They were originally going to be a core tenant of the SF Women's Building then being planned, but city zoning limiting retail establishments prevented their participation. Blues singer Gwen Avery (singer/songwriter/musician, 1944-2014) moved to the S.F. Bay Area in 1969 and sang with the Full Moon Band.  -LMC
