Poster has an abstract design with three anchor shaped objects at top and a drawing at center. The drawing depicts a female figure with long dark hair shown from the shoulders up. The bottom of the abstract design black area with text in yellow: "Yo Soy / Chicana".
The central image is derived from a photo of a Brown Beret, a Chicano/a liberation group that emerged in Southern California from the late 1960s through the early 1980s. The logo on her beret, designed by Johnny Parsons, consisted of two rifles crossed over a Christian cross topped with a beret. [LMC]
