Ricke and his partner Mr. White were in the wholesale and retail butcher business in Oakland. Mr. Whitelater became postmaster of Oakland. Their business was active inthe 1860 to 1890's at 11th and Broadway. His residence was located on Webster St. Photo came from Rice Family. "Unknown view of Oakland"
