Antoni Esplugas (Barcelona 1876-1929) was a well known photographer who had a studio in Barcelona . He photographed the artists of the period: singers, dancers, bullfighters and pelotaris (Jay Alay players). His photographioc archive is kept at the Arxiu Naciional de Catalunya (Catalan National Archive).
