Description: box of perforated cardboard doll furniture; a: box lid, black edges with a full color _llsuration of the Art Deco style contained in the box, "Built-Rite, Bed Room Funriture, Complete _et, No Cutting - No Pasting", "Set. No. 47"; b: box bottom, grey chip board; c: sheet of _urniture (printed in light brown and blue on the front, brown on the back, contains Wardrobe _hest, Vanity, rug, etc.; d: sheet of furniture (same colors as "c") contains the twin beds, etc. Instructions for Assembly are printed on the backs of "c" and "d". Dimensions: a: 8 1/4" x 7 1/8" x 1/2"; b: 8" x 7" x 1/4"; c: 13 3/4" x 7 3/4"; d: 13 3/4" x 7 7/8". Condition: excellent References/Remarks: Purchased as an artifact to rotate into the World War II Housing Unit display in the Cowell Hall of California History.

This set of paper doll furniture is indicative of the toys made during World War II that conserved on materials (such as metal) that could be used toward the "War Effort."
