Envelope reads, "Fremont High girls rowing, Left to right--Ellen Deruchie, Aida Stabgland, Pearl Jones, Doris Lovell, Eca Russell and Janes [sic] Russell. Vivacious sailor maids from Fremont High School. 2-8-14." Negative shows six women standing on a dock each holding an oar. All are wearing sailor outfits with different hats.
