Typed piece of paper and a Tribune photo caption stuck to the back of the print with the same information, "Jan. 17, 1943-- Frank A. Brown, who recently retired from the Key System service after 51 years of service, presents these pictures of trasportation offered by his employees when cars ran on the E. C. Sessions route from Thirteenth Avenue and East Eleventh Street to Dimond Canyon in the 'gay nineties.' Tony Smith is the driver of the two-horse car as it passes through Beulah Park to Fruitvale in 1890. He is also shown as he stands in front of the same car in 1892 after it had been converted into an electric car." Photo shows a trolley car pulled by two horses stopped on its tracks. There is a driver and three passengers sitting on the upper deck of the car. A spiral staircase is at the back of the car allowing passengers to climb to the upper deck to ride. On the side of the car is painted "Highland Park & Fruit Vale."
