The name, Frank K. Mott Co., is on a rectangular sign atop an office at Seminary Ave and E. 14th St. in Oakland. Presumably the Frank K. Mott referred to is Mayor Frank K. Mott. In this scene, the office is sited on land in the Eastlawn subdivision, as evidenced by a sign to the left of the office, and the office is presumably a real estate office. In the background there are few one storey houses to the left and right of the office. There is a concrete sidewalk in front of the office, and a single set of trolley tracks in the dirt _street, parallel to the sidewalk. Tthe name Jack Frost is handwritten on the back of the photo.
