Per the notation on the back of thephoto, this is a photo of Mr. & Mrs. George H. Raitt dressed respectively as Captain John Smith and Pocahontas. The Raitts are posed in front of a paneled wood wall, she in a sitting position on the floor, he in a half kneeling postion. Since there are many opther photos in this series, it is logical to assume the scene is at a party. Pocahontas is wearing a fringed dress. Captain Smith is wearing a three cornered hat, knickers, and white stockings.
