A parade or an assembly of men walking down a street [probably in Russia?] during the Great War-World War I. There are two civilans in the ranks, two men and one woman; the rest are all men, wearing miltary hats and boots, with varying coat styles One man near the front, at left, is wiping his eyes. Some men are carrying packages, others are carrying pots, and one is carrying a small chest (at right). The scene might be a cadre of inductees into the Army. On the far side of the men at left, there is a commercial establishement, several storeys high, and from center to right multi-storey apartment buildings. A two-globe lamp post is a center rear. The signs on the building at left are in a slavic language, probably Russian. In particular the commercial establishment sign reads, in Russian, Restaurant. the notation on the back of the photo reads "Great War #3 3 col[umn?] 1st Sunday w/___
