Per the pencil notation on the back of the photo this is a National Recovery Act [passed in the early days of Franklin Delano Roosevelt's first administration JM 9/14/2000] parade of uniformed Boy Scouts at night time. EAch of the boys are carrying large U.S. flags, escept for the boy out front who is carrying a sign indicating that this is the "4th" ____?. Spectators line the street on both sides. Streetcar tracks going in two directions are on the street. Three retail stores are on the far side of the parade: Grayson (dresses0, Leed's [shoes?] and Zukor's [jewelry?].
