The notation on the back of the photo reads "J.S. White Home and Shops 522-16th St. / Chas. Copeland Collection 122 E. 17th St. 2-21-[19]52." Two horses, are hitched to two wagon with the drivers' seat at the front and a cargo bed at the back. The equipment and the men, who are likley the employees of the J. S. White Co. are posed either on the wagons or on the street. A boy is leaning up against the ground floor of the two-storey J.S. White building. A little girl is looking out the bay window of the upper storey, appraising the scene below. The road surface is dirt, and the sidewalk behind the wagons is wood. The men all have hats on and wear shirts, either with or without their jackets.
