The Tribune photo, dated July 1, 1937, has the following caption on the back: "A sing-song was part of the Valentine party enjoyed by members of Cub Pack 33 at the Oakland Area Council at the McChesney School last week. The group is pictured with Mrs. Alma De Silva at the piano and Den Chief Bob Flaharty of Troop 11 standing by. All Cubs and Scouts have been asked to redouble their efforts in the waste paper collection campaign now that anniversary week activities are over. Announcement of the Eisenhower award has been released to the cubmasters and scoutmasters by the national salvage committee."
