The handwritten notation on the back of thephoto reads "Chris Benton flies his raido control[led] sailplane at North Waterfront Parkk at the Berkeley Marina. He took his two sons to show them how to fly theplane he made from a kit." Mr. Benton, in the foreground, is guiding his plane into the setting sun over the waters of San Francisco Bay.
