According to the handwritten notation on the back, this is a "Crowley tug pulling oil plaform." No date or location is given. The tug is named "Guardsman." The platform is actually situated on a barge, and it is an ungainly affair with "legs" at each corner, sticking up in the air. It also has an extension of the platform deck sticking out over the water.
