The notation on the back of the photo reads "Kids put squeeze on Pres. Nixon at Oak[land] Airport" Children are crowded around the president as he reaches out to touch children on their heads with his right hand, while waving his left hand to the crowd. Adults are behind him, and a newreel camera is pointed at him. The word "squeeze" is aptly used; Nixon's face looks as if he had just tasted lemon juice.
