Ray Gatchalian is jogging around Lake Merritt holding in his left hand a model of the illuminated lamp posts that ring Lake Merritt. He wears running shoes and pants, and a tee shirt which has printed on it, "Save Her Necklace" Behind him over his right shoulder is one of the 128 lamp posts that Ray is trying to have illuminated again as part of a campaign to restore them. Behind Ray's left shoulder is probably the Kaiser Center building.
