No information written on the back of the photo. Photo shows a woman wearing a jacket with a patch on the sleeve from some Alameda County service orgainization (cannot read the patch clearly), carrying a Vietnamese child down a flight of airplane stairs. The child, probably around 18 monthes old, is wrapped in a blanket. This is during Operation Babylift which took place in the beginning of April 1975. The goal was to remove as many orphaned and injured children from Vietnam as possible before the North Vietname invaded Saigon. The leading airline for this operation was World Airways based out of Oakland.
