This is a photographic negative of an Oakland Oaks baseball game in progress. In this shot a Los Angeles Angel player is just crossing home plate. The catcher is hunched over ready to recieve the ball and the umpire is ready to make the call. Another Angel player is standing just to the left of the catcher and umpire. The ball is 6 feet in front of the catcher. To the far right in the background the third base coach is standing. The third base side can be seen in the background.
