This is a photographic negative of an Oakland Oaks baseball player at bat. The left-handed batter (wearing #16) is at the end of his swing. The catcher is just getting up from his set position during the pitch. The game is taking place where there are trees all around and not very much seating. The background of the photo is right field. The crowd on the first base side can be seen.
