This is a photographic negative of a left-handed baseball player batting during a game. The batter is in the middle of his swing as his arms are outstretched in front of him and pointing toward the pitcher. The catcher is still croutched down in his waiting position and the umpire is doing the same. The third base side can bee seen here.
