This is a photographic negative of an Oakland Oaks player being congratulated at homeplate after he hit a homerun. The player who has just rounded the bases is nearly at homeplate and just about to touch the hand of a teammate. The catcher is standing behind the plate with his hands on his hips. The umpire is watching the player as he gets closer to homeplate. The stands behind the plate and on the third base side can be seen here.
