This is a photographic negative of a baseball player sliding into third base. The game is between the Oakland Oaks and ???. The third baseman is leaning over the sliding player attempting to put him out. The players right foot is touching the base. The photo was taken from almost directly behind the slumping third baseman. Center field can be seen in this photo. The scoreboard seems to show that the game was in extra innings - but it is difficult to tell.
