This is a photographic negative of an San Diego Padre batter just reaching first base. The Oaks first baseman is leaping in the air to catch the throw ball. The runner's left foot is on the bag and he is safe since the ball is still in the air on its way to the glove of the first baseman. The shot was taken from the first base side.
