This is a photographic negative of a base runner sliding home. The Oaks catcher (#27) is jumping straight into the air. As the throw goes high the runner scores as he slides across the plate. The umpire to the right of the photo watches on. A fourth player, an Oak is running toward the left side of the photo presumably to go after the errant throw. The photo was taken from the first base side of home plate and the third base side cn be seen here.
