This is a photographic negative of an Oak player about to slide into home. The runner is about eight feet from the plate and in action to slide. The catcher is leaning over as he moves in front of the plate with his arms down toward the ground to field the thrown ball. The umpire is behind the catcher about six feet and watching the play. The photo was taken from the first base side of home plate and toward the third base line. The left field stands can be seen here.
