This is a photographic negative of a San Francisco Seal batter crossing first base. The runner has his left foot on the bag. The first baseman (#4) is partially blocked by the runner in this photo but it appears that he is catching the ball. It is unclear if the runner was safe or out. Another player can be seen just to the right and in the background of the first baseman. The umpire is also partially in this picture - to the far right of the photo. The photo was taken from the first base side toward the infield. The third base stands can barely be seen here.
