This is a photographic negative of a San Francisco Seal batter base runner returning to first base. The runner has his left foot on the bag as the first baseman is making the tag to the Seals foot. The umpires head and right arm are captured in this photo to the far right. The photo was taken from the first base side toward the infield. The left field can be seen here.
