This is a photographic negative of a New York Yankee's baseball player sliding back to first base. The Oakland Oaks first baseman is fielding the thrown ball as he is lifting his right foot behind him. The Yankees first base coach #6 is standing in the coach's box watching the play. The shot was taken from the first base side toward the infield. The third base stand can be seen in the background.
