This is a photographic negative of an Oakland Oaks' batter crossing first base. The Runner's left foot is just touching the bag as the first baseman is awaiting the thrown ball. The first baseman has his left foot on the bag but the Oaks player is safe. The shot was taken from the first base side toward the infield and the stands behind the dugout and toward left field can be seen.
