This is a photographic negative of an Oakland Oaks' base runner standing on first base with his right foot. The runner is looking at the umpire for the call. The first baseman has his glove on the runner's leg applying the tag. The4 umpire is croutched down in order to make a call on the play. The shot was taken from the first base side toward the infield and the stands toward left field can be seen.
