This apron appears never to have been worn. It would have been worn by a woman for work, probably at home. It is designed to be a full length apron, "Hoover" style, sleeveless, buttons down the back with a button belt across the back and one patch pocket in the front. Bias strip applied in a decorative fashion at the hem. (Inside seams are bound in a didderent stripe fabric.)
