This is a photographic negative of an Oakland Oaks base coach. The negative is cut diagnally down the middle. Because of this only half of the action can be seen. The action of this photo is the coach standing in the coach's box on the first base side. He has his lef hand up to his face and his palm open. His right arm is bent at a 90 degree angle and facing out toward the infield. The grand stands can be seen in the background.
