This is a photographic negative of a second baseman (#11) making a play. The fielder has his left foot on the bag and his glove out in front of him. The runner (#8), who is going to second will be out by a few steps. In the background two of the outfield signs can be seen. To the left is SEALY MATRESS and to the right is SMITH'S CLOTHING STORE.
