This is a photographic negative of a right-handed batter taking a swing. The batter (#36) is almost at the end of his swing. The catcher and the umpire are both in their standard positions as the spheroid is pitched. The shot was taken from the first base side of home plate and the third base side stands can be seen here. 2000.1.364 is the preceeding shot of this scene.
