This is a photographic negative of an Oakland Oaks baseball game. In this photo a player is sliding into third base. Because of the cloud of dust and the third baseman the runner can barely be seen. The third baseman is falling over the runner as he is standing but leaning over with his hands on the ground in order to make the tag. The umpire watching the play is standing behind both players in this photo. The left and centerfields are in the background.
