The caption on the back of the photo reads: The 1902 baseball team was considered a pretty hot aggregation by Polytechnic pupils, for it was said of the players that they had "won nearly three times as many games as they lost." From left to right the players are: Rourke, Cooper, Ellis, Cronan, Yost, McGrath, Burckhalter, Griffin, Westphal, Gray. The photo was taken in a studio and all the players are posing in their uniforms for the camera. The front three players are holding bats, most all of the players have their gloves, and one player is holding a very dark baseball. One person is not in uniform and he is possibly the teams's coach.
