"Fabrications 2000," Oakland Museum of California, April 8 - June 11, 2000.

This quilt block was entered in the School Quilt Block Competition for students in grades K-12 in Alameda County; the deadline was March 17, 2000. This winning piece was exhibited in "Fabrications 2000" held in the Education Hall Galllery, April 8 - June 11, 2000. This quilt block won a first prize for students K-5, and was submitted from George P. Miller School, Alameda. The students who worked on the block, which features four hearts appliqued in place with the blanket stitch are: Ashley, Briana, Katy, Jose, Barbara Conage, James deLeon, Claudio, Ieshae, Rachel, Enington, Lauri, Jason, Kyle, Casey, Rebecca, Jessica, Veronica Lewis, Angelina R., Brittany, Alex Pitts, Adam and Sam.
