In side, title page says "Oakland Alameda County California, The Highlighted Story of One of the Nation's Richest, Greatest Communities." The rest of the booklet is general promotional material: articles on the growth of the city and county, homes, parks and recreation, industry, educational opportunities (i.e. university and high schools in the area), transportation, agriculture including food products and animals razed in the area, the Oakland Airport and its importance in aviation history. There is also a double page spread of all of the products manufactured in Oakland/ Alameda County, such as: automobiles, Marchant, Victor-Radio, furniture, Leslie Salt, tires, Caterpillar Tractors, etc.
