First advertisement poster from the Agricultural Promotional Campaign of 1929-1930 for Alameda County. The catch phrase for the poster is "Year 'Round Activity..In This Golden Hinterland." The poster advertises Alameda County, and especially Oakland's, wonderful climate that enables year-round farming. Statistics for average temperature and rainfall are also given. The ad was placed is newspapers across the country by the Alameda County Board of Supervisors. The donor's father was the graphic designer for the posters, E. Adams.
