Fifth advertisement poster from the Agricultural Promotional Campaign of 1929-1930 for Alameda County. The catch phrase for the poster is "The World Pays 9 1/2 Million Dollars Yearly For Alameda County's Flowers- Seeds, Bulbs and Trees." The poster advertises Alameda County, and especially Oakland's, wonderful climate that enables year-round farming that is especially nice for growing flowers- floriculture. Statistics for average temperature are also given. The ad was placed is newspapers across the country by the Alameda County Board of Supervisors. The donor's father was the graphic designer for the posters, E. Adams.
